Pastor Rick & Brenda Bell

Pastor Richard (Rick) was saved and baptized after going to a Baptist church in Sierra Vista, Arizona in 1971. Being in the Army, he had just returned from serving overseas in Vietnam. He met Brenda in Sierra Vista and they were married there. Pastor Rick believes that God brought Brenda to him. Now they have three grown children -- two daughters and one son, and seven grandkids. He makes the statement that those grandkids sure makes him get old faster than normal. In 1972, Pastor Rick was called into the Ministry while serving in a Baptist church in Tucson, Arizona, and he believes that God gave him the desire to be a Pastor. He graduated from Bible college in the summer of 1978, and he has been in the ministry ever since.
Pastor Rick has been on staff in a few different churches. He has started two churches over the years, and has pastored five churches including Skyline. He is thankful for his salvation, he loves the Lord Jesus, the Bible, his wife Brenda and his family; and he loves the people at Skyline that God gave him to pastor. He says that if anyone wants to know more about him, and actually see what he really is like, they have to come to the services. One of his favorite Bible verses is: Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me. Brenda Bell Brenda was saved and baptized at an early age. She had always said that God had called her to be a Pastor's wife. Pastor Rick makes the comment that without her in his life, he couldn't be a Pastor. He also comments that Brenda is a big part of his ministry. Brenda has had her own ministry over the years. She has been a teacher in all parts of their church ministry, which includes a ministry to women, Sunday School children and youth, and playing the piano wherever they are called to minister. She really encourages other women, younger women and because of that, she always has a following.. Besides being a Pastor's wife, she is a great mother and grandmother. Her three kids are always calling her on the phone when they need that motherly touch and advice. Surely they call her "blessed."

Brenda is thankful for her salvation, loves the Lord Jesus, the Bible, her kids and grandkids, and she really believes that God brought them to Skyline. She loves the Skyline people. One of her favorite Bible verses is: Nahum 1:7: The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and He knoweth them that trust in Him. (KJV)

Nathanael & Jessica Caudill

Nathanael serves as the assistant pastor at Skyline Baptist Church, where he helps with preaching, teaching, and a variety of administrative roles. He and Jessica moved their family back to Cochise County in 2025, excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the church and community they love. Nathanael grew up in a pastor’s home and trusted Christ as his Savior in his teens. Since then, he’s had the privilege of serving in many different ministries—trustee, young married couples teacher, youth pastor, and for several years, lead pastor of a church in Maryland. He studied at the Bible Institute at Hillcrest Baptist in El Paso, Texas, has received mentoring from several other pastors, and is continuing his education online. Before entering the ministry, Nathanael served in the United States Army for six years, where he met and married Jessica in 2009. They now have three children who keep life fun and full. Nathanael is passionate about studying God’s Word and preaching the truth of the Gospel. He loves sharing what God has done in his own life and encouraging others to grow through Scripture. When he’s not studying or preparing messages, you’ll probably find him with a good cup of coffee, hiking with his family, or cheering on the Chicago Bears.
Jessica was saved at a young age and has always loved being involved in church and serving the Lord. She grew up right here in Cochise County and is thankful to be back home serving at Skyline. She graduated from a Baptist college in California with a degree in elementary education, and over the years she has served alongside Nathanael in many ministries, as well as in various music ministry and ladies' ministry roles. Jessica enjoys administrative and planning tasks, and she loves helping make sure all the details behind the scenes run smoothly. She’s also passionate about talking about Jesus and sharing how He continues to work in her life. Outside of ministry, she enjoys time with her kids, good coffee, Mexican food, and the beautiful Arizona scenery.
The Caudill family is grateful for the opportunity to serve at Skyline Baptist Church and is excited to grow in the Lord together with their church family.
